Those of you who have been following the news from Kenya might be worried about us. This is to let you know we are fine and ironicly having a magnificent time wandering around South Africa. I will write more about our vacation another time.
At the moment we know the the country and people we have grown to love is in crisis and our adopted hometown now looks like bombed out downtown Bagdad. We also know our house and staff are fine too, so far.
We are headed back to Nairobi tomorrow. A security detail from the Embassy will meet us and escortt us to a hotel where we will be until its safe to travel back to Kisumu. There are no flights into Kisumu now. Stay tuned, i will update again soon.

As much as you love and have enjoyed Africa I think it's time to come home.....
