She labored most of the night, but when we check with her early in the morning today the count was nine puppies. I had to count them
four times to be sure! The ALL look really healthy and, so far, Sandy is proving to be a really really good mom. We'll keep them in the pantry for a few days but they will eventually live in their own kennel in the yard. The kids are excited, but they can't play with the pups yet so the interest is limited.
