So a very strange thing happen at our house on Sunday, here a bit of the police report:
A Kenyan of Ukrainian origin, Mr. Vladimir [XXXXXXXX ] was spotted by the secuity officer photographing the residence of the CDC Director Kisumu... The KK security tried to stop him but he defied and drove off towards Kakamega direction... With the help of the traffic police, he was intercepted. At the Kisumu Police station, the following was established:
That he hails from Eldoret.
That he is a Medical Doctor
That in Kisumu he was a guest of a neighbor and landlord to Dr. Laserson.
That he thought the gate belonged to the landlord's house.
That he admired the gate design thus photographed it.
The police released him after deleting the photograph from the camera.
Now folks, our gate is NOT one that anybody would really be interested in photographing, it's pretty boring design. Really not quite sure what to make of this, but I'm not making it up!

Maybe you should have Dad call someone in the KGB to straighten this mess out. His Russian family might be able to help!
I think it might be part of broader conspiracy to out gate you. I think he thinks if he has a bigger gate than yours, that he's a better man. Well, big gate or no gate, there are few better than you, Alan! Let him take all the pictures he wants.
Wait, maybe he's writing a book on the gates of Kisumu- like a coffe table book. maybe.
